Dan specializes in employment and labour law, shareholder
disputes, and related commercial litigation.
Dan's practice involves representing clients
on all labour and employment law matters, including human
rights and occupational health and safety matters, privacy
compliance, fiduciary and shareholders' disputes, contract
disputes and construction liens at hearings, motions, trials
and injunctions before all levels of court as well as at
administrative tribunals, arbitrations and mediations. Dan
is also involved with advising clients on labour and employment
law issues on a day to day basis, drafting employment agreements,
termination packages, workplace policies and manuals, advising
on business acquisitions and closures, negotiating collective
agreements and conducting training seminars.
Dan was recently an adjunct professor at George
Brown College for three years. He is also an active
member of the Labour, Civil Litigation, and Construction
Law Sections of the Canadian
Bar Association (Ontario). Dan speaks extensively on
legal issues and frequently writes on legal topics for various
publications. |
