Wilson Vukelich LLP's Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Department provides counsel to a wide variety of constituents including creditors, debtors, and other professionals practicing in the area of bankruptcy and insolvency.
Members of this group regularly dispense advice and appear in court on matters relating to bankruptcies and receivership, commercial reorganizations, restructurings and workouts, enforcement of secured creditors' rights and remedies, matters involving proceedings commenced pursuant to the Companies Creditors Arrangements Act, the Personal Property Security Act and of course the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
We act for financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, trustees, receivers, and monitors. We also provide advice to and represent in court debtors in respect of, among other matters, restructurings, reorganization proposals, plans of arrangement and loan workouts.
